Agenda 21 - A Blueprint for a Freedom-Free Future

Cities and counties nationwide are subtly being urged to buy into a plant to move all Americans to miserable megacities.

On Friday, Czech President Vaclav Klaus received a stark warning. A 26 year old man shot him repeatedly while he greeted a crowd. His security detail stood by and did nothing. Fortunately, the assailant’s pistol was of the airsoft variety, and Mr. Klaus received only a few bruises from its plastic projectiles.

Mr. Klaus has been a persistent critic of European unification, complaining from the podium provided by his largely ceremonial position that nearly 75% of what the European Parliament does is merely rubber stamping diktats from Brussels. Apparently his message has angered some, and whether the young man, a communist sympathizer was dispatched or whether things merely took their course after Mr. Klaus was demonized by globalist propaganda, we now see what happens to powerful people who sing from the wrong hymnal.

It would be easy to think that what happens in Europe is not relevant to our experience here in the USA. And it would be wrong. Both Europe and the U.S. are increasingly the focus of a two-decade long initiative being directed through the United Nations. The program was unveiled in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and goes by the name of “Agenda 21”, although when it is applied in your community you will not see it by that name. Its two main buzzwords are “sustainability” and “smart growth,” which sound perfectly reasonable. The goal, however is not so pleasant, and amounts to control over all resources and individuals, with artificial scarcity for the former and subjugation for the latter.

For Americans who think of the UN as either a humanitarian and diplomatic body with the best interests of the world’s poor and war refugees at heart, or as an ineffectual squabble-fest reminiscent of the bar scene in Star Wars, it may come as a surprise that anything could be happening there that would have an impact on me or you. But the truth is that at the UN, our way of life is viewed as inimical to the well-being of those in the rest of the world. To their way of thinking, whatever you and I have, they cannot.

Author Rosa Koire has written “Behind the Green Mask” to expose Agenda 21 and its tentacles. She charges that Agenda 21 is being forced on U.S. cities and counties through grants to develop plans for transportation, development and water resources, with the objective of moving most Americans into densely packed city cores where their living spaces will be no more than 275 square feet. In addition, Americans will not be allowed even to visit the countryside. Facilitators have been sent to meeting venues to cow members of the public into seeing things their way using the Delphi technique developed by the Rand Corporation. Of course this sounds preposterous. But it isn’t.

A chilling vision of the future was released by “Forum for the Future,” one of the network of organizations that supports Agenda 21. In it you eat what they want you to eat, travel when they say you can travel, and if you don’t like it that way, you are exiled from otherwise-pleasant “Plannedopolis” to a “Cry Freedom Ghetto” where presumably life is nasty, brutish and short. Presumably there is another group, off-screen, who partake in neither the enforced scarcity nor in the exile. There will always be the one percent.

What I’ve written here can only scratch the surface of the new threat that we face. We once knew it as Communism, but now it wraps itself in green and calls for our obedience to save the Earth. It has strongholds in our children’s schools and any of us who oppose its aims will be suspected by our own children. Every president since the ‘80s has been cooperative with its agenda, and neither of our choices now will stray from its objectives. Time is running short to turn it aside.
