Wesley Chapel Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition
The gunman could not be located despite air search and K-9 assistance.
Authorities are investigating a Wesley Chapel shooting that has left a 22-year-old man in critical condition.
The incident unfolded at 30122 Eastport Drive. Authorities received a 911 call at 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says an unknown gunman came to the house, where four people were inside at the time, via the back porch. Authorities used K-9 and air search to locate the culprit but could not find him.
"Detectives continue to look into the motive for the shooting," the sheriff's office said in a news release. "At this time we are not releasing any additional suspect information."
