Lake Myrtle Elementary Is Going 'Over the Top'

The spring carnival on Friday will be the biggest one yet, organizers say.

Come one, come all, to the Lake Myrtle Elementary Over the Top Carnival!

The event, which supports the school's technology department, will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 13 at the school, 22844 Weeks Blvd in Lutz.

Admission is $7 for preschoolers, $15 for school-age children, and parents are free. The price covers all activities, which include:

  • face painting five slides and bounces
  • lazer tag
  • 32-foot trailer from Games 2U filled with Xbox and Playstation games
  • nine-hole mini golf
  • carnival style games with prizes
  • hairspray booth

"We will also be selling carnival-type food, cotton candy, sno cones, popcorn, hot dogs, nachos and pizza," PTA member and event organizer Lisa Campbell said.

"It's bigger than we've ever put on before and would love the community to be a part of it," Campbell said.
