Sunlake Wrestler Thanks Community For Its Support
Sunlake wrestler John Ortiz is back from the first of his two national competitions and would like to thank those that helped him get there.
recently returned from his trip to the USA Wrestling Cadet National Duals Championships in Daytona Beach. He competed on the Florida Blue team and went 3 of 5 in matches in Greco-Roman and 1 of 5 in matches in freestyle.
It was not the result John and his family were looking for but it will be valuable experience not just for the next national tournament in North Dakota but for the rest of John's career.
