BJ Jarvis, Neighbor

BJ Jarvis is Horticulture Agent and Director for Pasco Cooperative Extension Service.  Having moved to central Florida (more than 20 years), she can appreciate the frustration that many new residents have to the challenges of Florida gardening.  Along with her husband and two kids, BJ believes that lower-maintenance gardens can be environmentally-friendly and beautiful.  BJ finds weeding therapeutic – “there's always plenty to pull, you can stop when you want, and the garden always looks better where you have worked”.
