Jessica Leigh, Neighbor

Tampa photographer Jessica Leigh is a Florida girl through and through. She took a hiatus from the Sunshine State to practice photojournalism in Michigan and Louisiana for five years. She returned in 2005 to pursue her freelance career in her hometown of Tampa. Her passion for photojournalism began at the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. Being brainwashed since birth to be a Gator, the transition came naturally to her. Leigh strives to make her subjects feel comfortable and reflect their personality in every frame she shoots. With a passion for meeting new people and hearing their stories, photography is what she was meant to do.

In 2008, Leigh married Texan and fellow journalist Justin Herndon. Their passions include their families, traveling and sports...anything played by Florida or Mizzou and they are in Heaven!
