Here's a look at the schedule of events at the Land O' Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Pky., for the week of July 12-17
- Tuesday, July 12 – No events are scheduled today.
- Wednesday, July 13 – The Summer Reading Club for elementary students meets today for activities at 2 p.m.
- Thursday, July 14 – Baby storytime takes place at 11:30 a.m. and again at 2:30 p.m. At 1:30 p.m., the library will play host to a retirement seminar.
- Friday, July 15 - Toddler storytime is set for 10:15 and 10:45 a.m. The preschool storytime runs at 11:30 a.m. The Summer Reading Club’s Tween Programs take place at 2 p.m. At 6 p.m., the library will play host to a World Cultural Festival for teens.
- Saturday, July 16 – LAMECON, a celebration of anime and manga, kicks off at 7 p.m. with a “cosplay dance” and costume contest. The dance continues until 10 p.m.
- Sunday, July 17 – LAMECON continues starting at 9 a.m. and running through 7 p.m. The all-day event features an artists’ alley, vendors, panel discussions and more.
