Pasco County Fair Discount Wristbands Available

The Pasco County Fair is right around the corner and time is running out for Land O’ Lakes residents who want to enjoy some bargains during the Feb. 21-27 event.

Discount wristband vouchers are still available at a cost of $12 if purchased before the 36722 State Road 52 fair office closes today, Feb. 18. The vouchers can be traded in on the midway for unlimited ride wristbands. If used Monday through Thursday, there is no extra charge. Vouchers redeemed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will face an extra $5 charge, fair officials said.

Unlimited ride wristbands without the discount cost $16 a day on the weekdays and run $20 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday fairgoers. The cost of the bands does not cover gate entry, which is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 through 12. Admission on Feb. 22 is $3 for all ages and parking is free throughout the event. Children get in free on Sunday, Feb. 27, with each paid adult admission.

The midway is open from 3 to 11 p.m. Feb. 21; 4 to 11 p.m. Feb.22-24; 4 p.m. to midnight Feb. 25; 10 a.m. to midnight Feb. 26 and noon to 7 p.m. Feb. 27.

In addition to the midway, the fair features a number of live performances, youth agricultural shows, a rodeo, demolition derby and more.
