Pasco County Closings

The county does observe Veterans Day as a holiday. That means all administrative offices, the courts, libraries and recreation centers won’t open their doors on Monday.

The Pasco County Public Transportation system is also closed Monday, but will resume normal operation on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Residents hoping to use a Monday off to haul some trash to the county’s landfills are also out of luck. The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility and the East Pasco Transfer Station are both closed to the general public on Monday.

What’s Open on Monday?

While a lot of Pasco County workers will get the day off on Monday, that’s not the case across the board. A few agencies will stay open, including emergency services, such as police, fire and ambulance.

Residents hoping to spend Monday at a county park are in luck. All parks and beaches are open on Veterans Day.
