Puppies a Plenty at Animal Services

The Pasco County agency has taken in 32 dogs from one breeder in recent days.

Pasco County Animals Services might have the four-legged friend you’ve been looking for.

The agency has recently taken in 32 dogs – mostly terrier/lab mixes – from the same breeder, according to Channel 10 News. The recent arrivals have put a strain on the agency’s limited boarding capacity.

"We have limited space," director John Malley told Channel 10. "So that's the importance of letting the community know we can't necessarily do this alone."

To find out about adopting a puppy, dog or cat, visit animal services, 19670 Dogpatch Lane. The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday and Wednesday from noon to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from noon to 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m. The center is closed on holidays. The cost to adopt a dog is typically $70. Cats are available for $40. The price includes sterilization, shots and more.
